Joshua Guevara, the creative force behind Psynopsis and our label manager, embarked on his journey into the world of psychedelic trance in 2023. Initially a DJ project specializing in Forest Psychedelic music in 2022, Joshua’s musical direction took a turn when he began receiving music production classes from Hakka. This experience ignited a passion for creating his own unique sound, leading him to focus almost exclusively on crafting his own music.
Even before discovering the psychedelic trance tunes that he now adores, Joshua had envisioned the concept of Melted Brain Records. His vision for the project evolved over time, and together with his friend Gustavo, also known as Centurio Senex, they began to shape the idea of the label until it fully encapsulated their shared vision.
Today, Joshua co-manages the label, produces his own psychedelic music, and is actively involved in various projects within the underground music scene. He also DJs Minimal House music under the moniker PAN, is one half of the Minimal House duo project Greenhouse, co-founded the Altered Perception music collective, and plays bass for the progressive hardcore band Kill Your Darling.
With Psynopsis, Joshua aims to communicate profound revelations and messages through the medium of music and sound, hoping to liberate the souls of those who are ready to listen.
