Carlos Eduardo Soares Brandão is the name behind the project Codex, focused on the continuous production of psychedelic Dark Forest music. Carlos had his first encounter with the world of music at the age of 7 when he received his first musical instrument.
In his early adolescence, Carlos pursued a course in Music Theory, where he dedicated himself and graduated, significantly enhancing his musical skills.
A few years later, he had his first contact with Psytrance. Identifying with the nocturnal aspects of electronic music production and drawing inspiration from artists like Elowinz, MubalÃ, and DelTorto, he saw an opportunity to develop his own live nighttime project.
In his early projects, he received support from friends who appreciated his sounds, and recently, he found his place in the Costa Rican record label Melted Brain Records.
